Introduction

  • SQL View is one of the powerful advance security module to SQL Payroll to limit your employees access and process payroll by designated grouping.
  • For example, KL HR manager can view and process payroll for the KL branch employees only. However, the Penang HR staff will allow to view and process payroll for Penang branch employees only.

Restricted to view and access the KL branch employees.

Menu: Tools | DIY | Maintain DIY...

New View Template

1. Right click on Employee (set view for Maintain Employee).
2. Click on New View Template.

3. Click on New'.

4. At View Template form, key-in the description (eg. EMPLOYEE-KL).
5. At Filter tab, add the condition by press the button to add a new condition.

6. Click to Change from AUTOKEY to BRANCH.

TIPS:
Change to DEPARTMENT if the view control by Department.
7. Next, change the operator from like to equals

8. Key-in or paste the branch code (Copy the branch code from Maintain Branch), eg. 'KL-BRANCH'.

NOTE:
Remember to put a quoted to branch code, eg. 'KL-Branch'.

10. At DIY View Template screen, select a view template (eg. EMPLOYEE-KL) and click OK.

11. KL view template will be added under Employee (Maintain Employee).

User View

1. Right click on View Template (eg. EMPLOYEE-KL)
2. Click on User View.
